Welcome to the USNA Women’s Shared Interest Group (SIG)
Welcome to the USNA Women’s Shared Interest Group webpage.
The purpose of the US Naval Academy Women’s Shared Interest Group ( USNA Women’s SIG) is to provide a platform for alumnae, alumni, and interested members of the USNA community to address issues of particular concern to women; to increase and strengthen the presence and leadership of women within the Naval Academy, the Naval Service, and the communities within which we live and work; and to provide opportunities for alumnae mentoring and networking.
There are many issues in life that are unique to the roles of women leaders, wives, mothers, daughters, sisters, aunts, and friends. The USNA Women’s SIG provides an opportunity for interested members to share experiences, ask for help, offer assistance, or promote issues of importance to alumnae. You don’t need to be a USNA graduate, or a woman to be a part of the USNA Women’s SIG, but you do need to have an interest in actively supporting issues important to USNA Women.
