Welcome to the USNA Women’s Shared Interest Group (SIG)!
The purpose of the US Naval Academy Women’s Shared Interest Group (USNA Women’s SIG) is to provide a platform for alumnae, alumni, and interested members of the USNA community to address issues of concern to women; to increase and strengthen the presence and leadership of women within the Naval Academy, the Naval Service, and the communities where we live and work; and to provide opportunities for alumnae mentoring and networking.
There are many issues that are unique to women as leaders, wives, mothers, daughters, sisters, aunts, and friends. The USNA Women’s SIG provides an opportunity for interested members to share experiences and perspectives, ask for help, offer assistance, and promote issues of importance to alumnae. We encourage alumni, midshipmen, and friends of USNA to get involved. You don’t need to be a USNA graduate or a woman to be a part of the USNA Women’s SIG, but you must have an interest in issues important to USNA Women.
Class of 2021, check out our new Primers page for tips on getting started after graduation.
Welcome to the USNA Women’s Shared Interest Group.
